Star Trek Accessories - Part 2

Although they didn't look much like the real thing. Mego's Star Trek Accessories were quite innovative and well thought out. More pictures and information will be added later.

I think this was like a rear projector with a Captain's chair mounted to the front. I have never seen it, but it looks very neat.

This was one of the earliest examples of a tabletop 'video game'. Although it is not a true video game. It works similar to those cheap little car hand-held car race games. For the time, it was done very well. I will add more commentary and better pictures, soon.

Intergalactic Planetarium
This is probably the rarest of all Star Trek Mego items. Rarer than the Romulan. Rarer than the Gamma VI Playset. I have only seen pictures of this one. Some day I'll have one to review for this site. The Planetarium includes a flashlight pointer like professors in college use (seen in the picture between the Planetarium and the instruction booklette). The pinpoint of light, however, is in the shape of the side view of the Enterprise. The cassette which was included with this toy was recorded by Leonard Nimoy. The entire Planetarium rotates. This is an example of another toy well done by Mego.
